Happy New Year and holidays, wherever this finds you.
For decades, I’ve been writing and recording—lessons, stories, realizations, poetry. I have notebooks all over my house and office (okay, not strewn—neatly stacked, but that sounds far less picturesque). I’ve always felt called to share this work more widely. Before I had my children—eleven years ago now—I did. And then life expanded in beautiful and demanding ways: two incredible humans, multiple businesses, and very real limits on time and energy. Creating a system of sharing writing and creative work kept getting pushed to the edges.
Part of the reason? I still love notebooks. I handwrite almost everything you read here first. It's a part of my creative process and a soothing part of being alive, I just love the feeling of a pen on paper, and the smell of the ink.
I’m happy to say that with the support of my amazing assistant, Rudy, we’ve been building a system that allows more of this writing—and video and audio—to reach you. As we complete one more rotation around the sun and welcome 2026, here are two pieces to begin...
In this reflection, I share a moment from early in my journey of conscious awareness, when a small frustration over misplaced stuffed animals became a lesson in attachment—and in the quiet power of realizing I can let go of the thoughts that create my own suffering. Audio has just been added!
A gentle exploration of perspective shifts that invite more peace and presence when spending time with friends and family. Through reflections on attachment, acceptance, and everyday moments, this piece offers simple ways to soften expectations, meet what is, and reconnect with ease
